Guests from high rise cities of north America will delight in the historic ambiance staying for a few days in a Spanish colonial mansion. And tourists couldn’t go wrong with the old world charm and modern sophistication of Condado’s At Wind Chimes Inn.  The three-floor former villa only has 22 rooms and 3 suites but each one is exquisitely appointed to rival the best that established 5-star hotels offer. 

With a mix of Saltillo terracotta for the kitchen (yes some rooms have a kitchen) and solid hardwood floors elsewhere, 10-ft high ceilings and original artworks, no two rooms are identical in aesthetics but each one has a cable TV, direct dial telephones and complimentary WiFi Internet access.  All rooms are non-smoking and are climate controlled with only the best zone-line super quiet ariconditioners. 

Guests also get the same concierge, valet, room and daily maid service, and bar refill like any 5-star hotel service.  The hotel also allows at least one pet for each room.  It has an outdoor deck for sunning, a swimming pool, and a small library. Daiquiris and fine gourmet dining are served in its Tiki Boat Bar and can also be served in-room. Parking space is limited for a once colonial villa but the bus stop is just a few steps from the hotel.
